Cher reveals she was ‘in love’ with Val Kilmer – but ‘he left’ despite ‘amazing sex’

Cher gets candid about his love and sex life.

During a performance at The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday, Nov. 20, the “Believe” singer, 78, opened up about how “madly in love” she was with Val Kilmer and how he left despite them having “amazing sex”.

By host Howard Stern asked Cher if “guys expect great sex” because she’s “Cher,” the actress/musician replied, “Yeah, and they get it.”

She added that she can always tell it’s good “by the reaction.”

Stern, 70, then asked “who would ever leave” her, to which Cher replied: “Few men. Few men. A couple.”

“Look, I was madly in love with Val Kilmer, and he left,” Cher recalls.

“Why would he leave? He’s having great sex with one of the most beautiful women in the world. What the hell is the problem with that?” asked the media personality.

“Because you don’t, sometimes you just stay, sometimes you’re just meant to stay with someone for so long and Val was like he was really young,” the “Strong Enough” hitmaker responded.

Cher revealed that their 14-year age difference “was a bigger deal back then.”

“The truth was, if I hadn’t gone out with younger men, I would never have had a date,” she said. “Younger men were not intimidated by older women.”

Cher noted that the former couple’s shared “sense of humor” and “what they could put up with each other” was more than she experienced with anyone else.

“He would just go off and do his own thing and you were just prepared,” she recalled. “And he was so beautiful. It went from madly in love and laughing hysterically to respecting each other’s abilities.
