Scotland face Greece in the Nations League final

Scotland face Greece in a Nations League final in March.

After finishing third in their A group, Steve Clarke’s side must beat the runners-up in Group B to remain in the competition’s top tier.

The matches will be played on March 20 and 23, with the second leg at Hampden.

Scotland finished with wins at home to Croatia and away to Poland to end their first A-level campaign with seven points.

Greece were second to England on goal difference in Group B2 and took 15 points from their six games, which included a 2-1 win at Wembley.

The Greeks, led by Ivan Jovanovic, are 42nd in the Fifa rankings, nine places above Scotland.

Scotland and Greece have only met in the Euro 96 qualifiers, where both won their home games 1-0.
