Police are investigating a stabbing in the Chelmsford area of ​​Greater Sudbury.

On Friday morning, officers were called to a home on Errington Street at 7:30 a.m. to find a 30-year-old woman with multiple stab wounds.

She was taken to hospital and is being treated for her injuries. A 33-year-old woman, believed to have been involved, was also taken to hospital.

Preliminary investigations indicate that the stabbing was the result of an argument between the two women. Police say it was a targeted incident and the two people are known to each other.
