Medical examiner’s report reveals details of Kansas woman’s death in Oklahoma

TEXAS COUNTY, Okla. (KFDA) – 10 Investigates has obtained the full medical report for Veronica Butler, one of the Kansas women killed in Texas County.

The report was released after the defense filed a motion to extend the time to withhold the medical reports.

The report reveals that Butler died from multiple blunt force injuries, with a total of 30 blunt force injuries.

10 of the wounds were consistent with Butler attempting to defend himself.

The report says Butler grabbed the blade of the knife with her right hand, resulting in multiple cuts to her fingers.

In addition, she received a blunt force cut to the back of her head.

The report also says there were possible stun gun marks on her lower neck.

After the attack, both women were hidden in a freezer and then buried.

The report says Butler would have been dead before he was placed in the freezer.

Jilian Kelley’s full medical report was released on November 5.
