Sealing is a skill every DIYer should have in their cupboard. But while it’s easy enough to do, caulk can stick out like a sore thumb if left in its raw, natural state. So you might want to cover it up with paint – but can you paint over caulk or is that a big no-no?

Regardless of whether you’ve bought caulk to spruce up the edges of your ideas for wall panels or give your skirting boards their chance to really shine, did you know that caulk usually only comes in white, black or clear. But even if you choose clear sealing, it can still be visible to the naked eye. That’s why painting it can really work to your advantage.
