CDTA announces Thanksgiving schedule changes

The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule for Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, 2024.

There will be no Northway Xpress or Thruway Xpress commuter services that day. Regular weekday service will resume on Friday 29 November 2024.

The CDTA sales window will be closed on both Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 and will reopen on Monday, December 2, 2024.

The parking area at the train station is expected to reach or near capacity as Thanksgiving and Christmas approach. Travelers are advised to allow extra time to secure parking.

Customers can also take advantage of CDTA’s FLEX+ service, which provides an on-demand connection between the Joseph L. Bruno Rail Station and downtown Albany destinations, including the New York State Capitol, Albany Capital Center and Empire State Plaza.

Customers seeking additional information about holiday service may contact CDTA’s Customer Service Center at (518) 482-8822.
