Inside Prince Harry and Meghan’s ‘fun and sunny’ Christmas with Archie and Lilibet | Royal | News

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will no doubt be planning their Christmas holiday with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

While it is unknown how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will spend the holiday, it is highly unlikely that they will spend it in the UK due to the couple’s ongoing split with the royal family.

But according to a royal expert, the couple will mark the occasion in a special way for Archie and Lilibet.

Previous BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond claimed the couple will likely stay in California over Christmas and spend the holiday with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.

She told ok!: “I think most women like to be with their mothers on Christmas Day.

“Given that Doria doesn’t seem to have any other family she wants to share the festivities with, I think it’s a fair bet that Meghan will want to be with her and that would mean they’re all in California.

“All in all, I think the chances are Harry, Meghan, the kids and Doria will enjoy Christmas in the Montecito sunshine.

“It will probably be a time of reflection for Harry – he has written about his nostalgia for times when his British family were together.”

The royal expert added: “But, as any parent knows, when your kids are running around, maniacally tearing open presents and getting completely overexcited at Christmas, there’s not much time to think about anything other than keeping them happy and stopping them from fighting.

“So, I think it’s going to be a fun and sunny Christmas in Montecito.”

Meanwhile, across the pond, the royals are gearing up for a full party schedule with most members of the royal family heading to Sandringham for the annual gathering.

Since the passing of the late Queen Elizabeth, her son, King Charles, has been in the habit of inviting the entire royal family to the Christmas Day service, which is followed by the traditional Christmas dinner at Sandringham Estate.

It is unknown whether Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were invited to this year’s festivities.
