The Moana the sequel was a family affair for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The actor’s two younger daughters, Jasmine and Tianawhich he shares with his wife Lauren Hashiandid voiceover work for the Walt Disney Animation Studios film Moana 2.

Jasmine, 8, and Tiana, 6, voiced Moana-Bes in the film. Proud dad Dwayne shared a video of his daughters in the recording booth. “Much better than dad,” he is heard saying.

Alongside the Instagram post, the girl’s dad wrote: “Introducing your #Moana2 Moana-Be’s My two Tornadoes Jazzy & Tia It was a family affair at the @DisneyAnimation recording studios and everyone had a blast!”

“As you can see Moana is deeply personal and I am a grateful man ,” he continued. “Catch the Moana-Be’s handing out L’s to Maui – in theaters on Thanksgiving day! #MOANA2 @disneyanimation.”

Dwayne is also the father of the 23-year-old Simon Johnson from his previous marriage to Dany Garcia.

Dwayne’s wife Lauren also shared the video of their daughters recording their lines on her Instagram. “This was the cutest and MOST fun day! So excited munchkins got to vote characters for MOANA 2! MOANA-BE’s! Moana’s mini fan club on her island ,” she captioned the post. “Tonight will be the very first time we all get to see it and hear their little voices come to life… we can hardly contain our excitement! This movie has truly always meant the world to them and now they always have an even more special connection .. definitely deserves a cheeehooo #MoanaBes #Munchkins #Donuts @therock! @atajohnson .”

Dwayne, Lauren and their two girls, as well as The Rock’s mother, Ata Johnsonattended the world premiere of the film in Kapolei, Hawaii on Thursday. Earlier in the day, Disney teamed up with Dwayne and Make-A-Wish to create a memorable experience for five wish children and their families. Disney at Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa hosted the families who were invited to visit the island as guests of the cast for the premiere.

Moana 2 takes place three years after the events of the first film. “After receiving an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors, Moana must journey to the distant seas of Oceania and into dangerous, long-lost waters for an adventure unlike anything she’s ever encountered,” according to a description of the film. Moana 2 theatrical release November 27.
