Pokemon Go Wild Area event start time and end time

Go Wild Area is the latest in a series of global events i Pokemon Goafter the likes of Go Tour in the spring and Go Fest in the summer.

Themed around the idea of exploring the unknown, its matured with new features, from the introduction of strong Mighty Pokémon, a new Poké Ball type in Safari Ball, and the debut of Gigantamax Toxtricity.

This page explains when the Go Wild Area event starts in Pokemon Goand some tips on how to prepare.

Start time for Pokemon Go Wild Area

The Pokémon Go Wild Area global event is running 10.00 to 18.15 local time both Saturday 23 November and Sunday 24 November.

A start at 10 am is par for the course for the vast majority Pokemon Go event and gives you time to travel to your local group meetup – if you’re playing with others in person – or a chance to prepare for the event, which we have some recommendations for at the end of this guide.

As for the 18:15 end time (as opposed to the hour of previous global events) it’s a bit of a mystery. It’s possible that there could be some raid and/or Max Battle activity in the final 15 minutes, but until the event ends in the Asia-Pacific region, we won’t know for sure.

Anyway, you can still play parts of the event once it’s over. Raider and Max themed battles will likely spread into the evening, and if they don’t you can always remote attack players where the event will still continue to fight, something that has been streamlined with the ability to more easily join raids remotely this week.

How to prepare for Pokemon Go Wild Global

Preparing for a global event is largely about making sure you have enough storage and items ready to ensure you can play as unhindered as possible, but there are also a few things to prepare for specifically for Go Wild Global too.
