Complete list of players bought by Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals (RR) kept six players before IPL 2025 mega auction and they will go into the mega event with a purse of Rs 41 crore. Sanju Samsonwho first joined RR in 2013, will continue to lead the franchise. He has been leading RR since 2021. Samson was retained for Rs 18 crore.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was also among their top retentions and he will command a salary of Rs 18 crore. Yashasvi is RR’s homegrown player and he can lead the franchise in the future.

RR showed faith in Riyan Parag and Dhruv Jurel and retained them for Rs 14 crore each. Shimton Hetmyer will also continue his association with RR after being retained for Rs 11 crore.

RR retained Sandeep Sharma in the uncapped category for Rs 4 crore. The right-handed pacer last played for India in 2015. He joined RR as a substitute in 2023.

RR surprisingly released Jos Buttler and he looks set to earn a huge amount. RR don’t have enough purse strings and they will have a tough task to re-sign the wicketkeeper batsman in the mega auction.
