OnePlus is reportedly working on its first foldable smartphone, which could debut next year. According to a Weibo post by Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station, the company’s first clamshell foldable phone may be called OnePlus V Flip. It is expected to hit the market sometime in the second quarter of 2025, probably between April and June. If these leaks are true, the OnePlus V Flip would be the company’s second device in the foldable smartphone arena after last year’s OnePlus open. The upcoming flip smartphone is expected to fight in the already crowded market of book-style and clamshell foldable phones from major players including Samsung, Motorola, Oppo, Vivo and Huawei.

Until now, there were already speculations that the first foldable phone from OnePlus would actually be a rebranded version of the Oppo Find N5 Flip. Recent reports suggest that the rumored OnePlus V Flip may actually have something unique in terms of specs compared to Oppo’s clamshell phone.
