Circle K offers 40 cents off all gas Thursday: This is where it starts

Circle K is offering 40 cents off gas Thursday afternoon as part of its Fuel Day promotion.

Yes, you read that right.

The convenience store, which has hundreds of locations in the state, will offer a 40-cent discount per gallon between 4 and 7 p.m. local time, according to a press release.

The promotion is taking place at participating gas stations, according to the release, with more than 240 stations in California listed on the website.

Some cities offering the deal include Cathedral City, Palm Desert, Indio, Yucaipa, Hesperia, Victorville, Oxnard, Santa Paula and others.

The discount is on all types of gas and the sale price will be reflected at the pump.

More than 5,000 Circle K locations across the United States are participating in the Fuel Day promotion.

Customers standing in line before 19.00 will receive a 40 cent discount while stocks last.

The Canadian company Alimentation Couche-Tard owns and operates Circle K, as well as the Couche-Tard convenience store and the Ingo gas station. Circle K, which was first established in Texas in 1951, was acquired in 2003, according to to its website. The convenience store is available in more than 31 counties and territories.
