A middle school teacher in St. Helen’s school district is under investigation by local police for alleged criminal conduct, said the vice president of the St. Helen’s school board on Thursday, just a few days after two high school teachers were arrested and accused of child sexual abuse.

In a brief, virtual school board meeting, Vice President Trinity Monahan said the high school teacher under investigation had been placed on administrative leave and the district was cooperating with police. Monahan did not identify the teacher and did not release any other information.
