The Kabhi Main Kabhi Tums replacement drama Aye Ishq E Junoon has taken the internet by storm with fans drawing parallels between the Pakistani drama and South Korea’s hit Netflix series, King Country.

Starring Ushna Shah, Sheheryar Munawar and Shuja Asad in lead roles, the drama is a perfect blend of romance and suspense.

The show has been filmed on a large scale and its hotel setting, romantic walks and proposals evoke much more similarities to the Korean drama.

In addition to its story and setting, Munawar’s character in the drama in particular draws comparisons to Korean dramas with her cooking and hotel management skills.

One user wrote on YouTube, “it’s crystal clear but I’m glad they’re getting inspired by KDRAMAS.”

While another noted “This drama gives King the Land’s vibes.”

“Feels like watching King The Land,” added the third.

The fourth asked, “Is it some sort of adaptation of King The Land???”

Aye Ishq e Junoon, ddirected by Qasim Ali Mureed and written by Sadia Akhter, debuted on 11 November 2024 and aired its fourth episode on ARY Digital this week.
