2 more exit polls predict landslide for NDA in Maharashtra

Counting of votes in Maharashtra assembly elections is on Saturday

Mumbai/New Delhi:

The Mahayuti alliance is predicted to win the Maharashtra election by a wide margin against the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) grouping, according to two new exit polls released on Thursday, a day after voting ended in the state’s most contested election with factions of two major warring parties.

Mahayuti, or the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), is expected to win 178-200 seats in the 288-seat assembly, according to an exit poll by Axis My India. The halfway mark is 145.

It predicted MVA would win 82-102 seats, which is in line with most exit polls coming out on Wednesday.
