Shoojit Sircar feels Abhishek Bachchan’s ways resemble Jaya Bachchan more than Amitabh Bachchan: “I saw the same purity in…” |

Shoojit Sircar feels that Abhishek Bachchan's manner resembles Jaya Bachchan more than Amitabh Bachchan:

Shoojit Sircar and Abhishek Bachchan coming together for the first time I want to talk. Shoojit, who has worked extensively with Amitabh Bachchancompared Abhishek to his father, while noting that his acting style closely mirrors his mother’s, Jaya Bachchan.
In an interview with India Today, Shoojit mentioned that although many compare Abhishek with his father, he noticed similarities with his mother, Jaya Bachchan, especially in his eyes, mannerisms and manner of speaking. He remarked that the purity seen in Jaya Bachchan’s roles, like in Mahanagar and Abhimaan, was also evident in Abhishek.

Sircar discussed Amitabh’s and Abhishek’s different ways of acting. He explained it at the same time Big B preferring long rehearsals, often for hours, Abhishek’s method is more about absorbing the character’s essence on set and reviewing the script repeatedly. For I Want To Talk, Shoojit praised Abhishek for his simplicity and discipline, noting that he completely immersed himself in the role of Arjun and remained true to the character even during the shoot.

I Want To Talk will release after a series of back-to-back disappointments for Abhishek Bachchan, including films like Ghoomer, Dasvi, Bob Biswas and The Big Bull. The film also stars Banita Sandhu and Johny Lever in key roles and hits theaters on November 5.
