LG has a new OLED monitor, which has an image value of 480 Hertz convincing. All further details to specifications, price and release of UltraGear 27GX790A are called screens, see below.

The South Korean Hersteller LG has a portfolio and OLED monitors within the gaming-specialized “UltraGear” family. With the 27GX790A comes a new, 27-inch large screen on the market, which has a resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. The highlight should be a particularly high image refresh rate of up to 480 Hertz. As the reaction time (GtG), the manufacturer gives a value of 0.03 ms.

In the almost frameless UltraGear 27GX790A, as usual with LG, the in-house WOLED-Panel, which uses white light sources within the usual sub-pixel structure for high brightness and precise contrast, is stuck. At Zertifizierungen, LG called VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400 so that it has VESA ClearMR-Klasse.

I’m looking at Screen-Tearing called Phänomen signs with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync both working in the UltraGear 27GX790A. In addition to this, the monitor has AGLR (“Anti Glare Low Reflection”), mit dem eine Beschichtung zur besseren Sicht in hellen Räumen gemeint ist.

During a connection check, the 27-Zoll-Monitor has over HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 2.1 and will work for the next GPU generation around Nvidia RTX 5000 and Radeon RX 8000. Auch ein 4-pin Kopfhöreranschluss mit Unterstützung für DTS and 3D-Audio ist an Table.

The L-shaped stand foot of the LG UltraGear 27GX790A can be swiveled up to three percent; die Basis soll sich auch dazu eigenen, eine Tastatur darauf zu platzieren, um ein aufgeräumtes Set-up zu erhalten. A price or a release date for OLED monitors is not LG for the European market.
