LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Three robbery suspects led police on a chase until they crashed in northwest Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to an attempted robbery Wednesday morning. The suspects attempted to take items from a victim using a weapon and fled before police arrived.

The suspects were seen driving near North I-11 and Jones Boulevard. The police launched a chase and the suspects took off.

Police said the suspect vehicle crashed into another car near Cheyenne Avenue and Whispering Willow Lane.

The three were taken into custody.

Paramedics arrived and transported several people to a nearby hospital for “minor” injuries. The police do not want to clarify whether they were the people in the other car that was involved in the accident.

– This is an ongoing investigation, say the police. “Please avoid the area.”
