Tecno has announced that they will be launching the Tecno Pop 9 in the Indian market. Separate from the Tecno Pop 9 5G that was launched earlier, this new model will be even more affordable and aimed at younger buyers who are likely to get their first phone.

The Tecno Pop 9 will launch in India later this week on Friday, November 22. The company claims that this will be the first phone in the Indian market to run on the MediaTek G50 processor.

Other features of the Tecno Pop 9 include a 6.67-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole camera on the front. There is also a 5000mAh Li-Polymer battery and IP54 dust and splash protection.

Pricing and availability information will be revealed on launch day.
