One person was killed and several others were injured in a three-car crash in Hopkinton on Tuesday night.

One person was killed in a three-car crash on Interstate 90 in Hopkinton Tuesday night that also involved a tractor trailer, police said.

According to Massachusetts State Police, at 11:40 p.m., Charlton Barracks responded to a crash involving a tractor trailer.

Six ambulances arrived at the scene to provide medical aid to six patients; two of which were “severely stranded” According to the Westborough Fire Department.

Police said two people were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, and one man, identified as David Fencil, 48, of Calvert City, Kentucky, died from his injuries at the hospital.
