The Mentor Police Department announced that they will be hosting their 11th annual Fill-a-Cruiser Food Drive from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Nov. 10 at the Greatest Eagle Supermarket, 8383 Tyler Blvd.

Officers will be collecting non-perishable food items and cash donations that will be distributed to food pantries to benefit families within the city of Mentor, according to a news release.

Over the past 10 years, officers have filled 24 police vehicles with food donations and collected nearly $19,000 in cash donations to help those in need, the release said.
