2024 MLB World Series odds: Why ‘Dodgers at 7’ is the best bet

After an exciting October baseball playoffs, World Series Friday begins with a new chapter in the storied rivalry between the two sides. Yankees And Dodgers.

The history, tradition, iconic jerseys and superstars of both teams; What more could we ask for as baseball fans?

This will be the 12th all-time meeting between the Yankees and Dodgers in the Fall Classic and will feature a World Series-record five former MVPs between the two teams (Ohtani, bets, Freeman, Judge And Stanton).

Although it won’t be announced until weeks after this series concludes, it’s just a formality that Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge will win this year’s religious season MVP awards; This means that for the first time in over a decade, both will be MVPs. They make it to the World Series (the last time Buster Posey and Miguel Cabrera were in 2012).

These two football clubs not only have a storied history, but a recent one as well.

The Dodgers visited the Bronx in early June and won the first two games of the three-game series before the Yankees salvaged the finale. However, it’s worth noting that the Yankees are lazy. Juan Soto He missed this series with a forearm injury.

Was the TV series in June a harbinger of future events?

My bet here is “Dodgers at 7 at +475” (available on DraftKings).

With star power on both sides, we should be looking at an extremely competitive series. The tiebreaker for me is the Yankees’ inability to get distance from their starting pitchers.

Yankees starters averaged 4.8 innings per start through nine postseason games.

Against a brutal roster and a bullpen that doesn’t have enough quality weapons to compensate for shortstops, I think the Dodgers’ barren lineup is ultimately what carries them to a series victory.

Yankees got here by beating their AL Central rivals cleveland And Kansas City. The step up in class when facing the Dodgers is a huge leap forward in competition and will ultimately prove too much for a Yankees team that lacks great pitching.

I think the Dodgers will win what should be a great series in a winner-takes-all Game 7.
