Man charged in connection with stabbing in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — D.C. police arrested a man in connection with a stabbing that occurred Sunday in the Northwest.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said just before 6:15 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to the 1400 block of Irving Street for a report of a stabbing.

PGPD: An unidentified person got on the primary school bus, there were 3 students on the bus

Police arrived at the scene and found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The person with non-life-threatening injuries was taken to hospital.

During the investigation, detectives arrested Michael Trone, 34, of Northwest.

A lawsuit was filed for assault with a dangerous weapon.
