Lady Gaga Disease Single Release Streaming Information

Lady Gagas “little monster” can now breathe a huge sigh of relief as she makes her long-awaited return to pop music. In preparation for the release of her seventh studio album, Lady Gaga has released her highly anticipated single ‘Disease’.

While Gaga has remained in the spotlight, acting in major film features, playing her jazz residency in Las Vegas and producing special cinematic soundtracks, the single marks the artist’s first proper pop single in four years. In “Disease” the artist reproduces the dark electropop style, reminiscent of previous projects such as The Fame Monster (2009) and Born This Way (2011)with four-on-the-floor beats and grinding synths.

Gaga lets out a raspy belt for the hook, proclaiming “I could play the doctor, I can cure your disease.” The distorted stylization is a departure from the polished vocal tracks of her last pop LP”Chromatica (2020)“, which adopted a rose-hued alien aesthetic. The album cover reflects this change in tone, depicting Gaga very on earthsprawling on the hood of a moving car with “DISEASE” painted on the tarmac.

Off the heels of Joker: Folie à Deux due out in early October, the multi-hyphenated artist shows no signs of stopping as she begins the rollout of her next LP tentatively dubbed by fans as “LG7.” Although an official release date has not been announced, the album is rumored to be released in early 2025.

“Disease” is available to stream everywhere now. Listen to the full track below and stay tuned to Hypebeast for the latest music news.
