At a WWE live event in Manchester, England earlier this month, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes introduced interim UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall to the crowd.

During a recent vlog, American Nightmare commented on the moment and the synergy between the sibling companies. He said,

“The fanbases are very, very different in terms of who comes to WWE, who comes to UFC. The mission is very much the same though, just to take over the world in terms of sports and sports entertainment. This was just the perfect match.”

He continued, “I was so happy when I found out I was going to be the one to take Tom out. It was just a really good thing for all of us and excited to do it and hope we do more of it. But as we know is the crowd is very different. We have to give it to Tom. So it’s a really good start and we have to finish it.”
