“The children are currently in danger while in their mother’s care. Kyle asked that Jamie be granted limited access to his children that would be professionally supervised.

In her statement, Kyle claimed that Jaime has a history of “severe drug and alcohol abuse and has had a major relapse that endangers the safety and well-being of our children in her care.”

He claimed to have gone to Jaime’s house last week at 7:30 a.m. after receiving a call from their children. He said he found Jaime on the floor “incoherent and surrounded by guests she’s been partying with all night. I took the kids out of the house and they haven’t been back to Jaime’s house since.”

Kyle claimed he was aware of two separate reports from the Department of Children and Family Services made by the child’s therapist and by their school counselor in the past week.

– An active police investigation is underway, he says. “Our children are in grave danger if Jaime resumes custody as she continues to drive them around while under the influence, has strange men show up to the house and sends them to sleep in the boys’ rooms and the children are so petrified they asked to talk to the judge so they don’t have to go back to their mother’s house.”

Kyle added, “Jaime loves our children and we want her to get help – however, I cannot force her to get help and cannot allow our children to be in a constant state of danger and abuse as a result of Jaime’s substance abuse problem.”

He continued, “Without strong orders, I’m afraid Jaime will continue to game the system — she’s been sanctioned twice by two different judges in our family law matter and refuses to follow court orders, like the order requiring her not to be intoxicated when the kids are in her custody.”

The judge has not yet ruled.

Back in May 2020, Jaime filed for divorce from Kyle after almost 13 years of marriage. The exes met on the set of the film Fanboys, which Kyle directed. The divorce quickly turned ugly.

In court documents, obtained by TMZ Kyle claimed primary custody of their child due to Jaime’s alleged substance abuse problem. He claimed it was so bad that he and her friends staged an intervention.

Kyle said Jaime went to the famous Cirque Lodge rehab facility in Utah. However, he said she did not stay because she was trying to check in with some medications. At the time, Jaime said she agreed to check into the facility to prove she was drug-free.

On another occasion, Kyle accused Jaime of failing to pay court-ordered child and spousal support.

He said she hadn’t coughed up $429 per month in child support and $1,000 in spousal support that she owed.

The divorce drama ended for a short period when a settlement commenced in September 2023. The legal battle is now back on.
