Chappelle has faced controversy over his recent stand-up specials, including “The Closer” (2021), “What’s In A Name?” (2022) and “The Dreamer” (2023), all of which premiered on Netflix.

Despite its controversial content, the first two won the Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album, while the latter received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety Special.

Killer Mike, one half of the hip-hop duo Run the Jewels, released his solo album, “Michael,” in June 2023, which won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album.

He later followed it up with his seventh studio album, “Songs for Sinners & Saints”, in collaboration with the gospel group The Mighty Midnight Revival. The tour takes its name from the album’s closing track, “Still Talk’n That Shit,” featuring Key Glock and Project Pat.
