Pittsburgh Steelers D/ST – Fantasy Football Outlook

The Pittsburgh Steelers put on a defensive clinic in their season opener and appear poised for another dominant showing against the Denver Broncos in Week 2. Denver’s offense managed just 16 points in Week 1 and turned the ball over three times.

Broncos quarterback Bo Nix struggled in his debut, and Pittsburgh’s relentless pass rush led by TJ Watt is sure to make it difficult for the rookie to improve on Sunday. Even if the Steelers’ defense fails to record productive scoring stats, fantasy managers should feel confident using it in what is expected to be a very low-scoring affair. Pittsburgh’s DST could be locked into starting lineups of all shapes and sizes this week

Los Angeles Rams D/ST – Fantasy Football Outlook

The Los Angeles Rams defense ranks outside the top 12 fantasy options heading into Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Rams have posted modest results this season, ranking 10th in fantasy points among D/ST units and posting double-digit fantasy points in their upcoming win over the New England Patriots last weekend.

However, the Rams face a much tougher task this Sunday in the form of the Eagles, who have scored the seventh-most points in the NFL, led by a star-studded offense with Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, and Dallas Goedert.

If there’s one thing working in Los Angeles’ favor, it’s that the Eagles have allowed the 17th most fantasy points to opposing D/ST units. It’s not the most appealing statistic, but modest upside is better than no upside. Still, managers are advised to look elsewhere for fantasy production in Week 12.

Andersen Pickard, RotoBaller

Philadelphia Eagles D/ST – Fantasy Football Outlook

The Philadelphia Eagles defense will hit the road to take on the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12 on Sunday night. The defense hasn’t given up more than 20 points since Week 4 and proved they can hold good offenses in check last week when they suffocated rookie Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders on Thursday Night Football.

The Rams are another tall task to face, especially with their wide receivers now healthy. But with six teams on the bye this week, you could do a lot worse than start a defense that has been on fire since the team’s Week 5 bye.
