The L’oréal Paris ambassador tells PEOPLE that her best eyebrow product isn’t actually an eyebrow product

Cara Delevingne shares the secret behind her iconic brows.

On Thursday, Nov. 21, the 32-year-old model and actress brought her signature look to the L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth Celebration in West Hollywood, California. She looked chic in a dark gray pinstripe suit and partially untucked white button down shirt, with a pair of strappy ivory sandals for a feminine touch.

At the event, Celevingne told PEOPLE her go-to hack for perfect brows—and it might surprise you.

“People always ask me what bronzer I use,” she said. “Honestly, since I was younger, the best brow gel I’ve ever used L’Oréal Elnett (hair spray) on a mascara brush. It’s just the best.”

She continued, “Sometimes eyebrow gel can be really heavy and hard to get off, and Elnett is just so pretty, and I always find it works better than anything else.”

Delevingne, who was recently announced as L’oréal Paris ambassador, also shared that her daily make-up routine is very “simplistic”.

“I always carry (L’Oréal) Color Riche (Satin lipstick) in red in my bag,” she said. “If I just want to throw something on, if my skin is particularly blotchy at the moment, I’ll just put on a red lipstick or something.”

“I usually just go for one big thing, whether it’s eyes or lips,” she explained. “See that one (L’Oréal) Panorama Mascara or Color Riche lipstick, just something simple because it just draws you in. It’s just drawing attention to one place.”

The Only murders in the building The actress also admitted that she’s “not the best at doing my own makeup.”

“People always ask me, ‘You must be so good at makeup,'” she recalled. “I’ve seen so many people do it, and I’m really not. I’m proof of how tricky makeup can be because I’m not that good. But when I do it, I keep it simple.”

During a recent conversation with comedian Nikki Glaser for The interview magazinethe model opened up about her experience living with Taylor Swift after a breakup.

“I went through a really horrible breakup, and she let me live with her,” Delevingne, who is now in a relationship with girlfriend Minkesaid.

She continued, “We’re very different people. She’s very homely, because she took such good care of me, but we got into some — not trouble, but I definitely took her on a bit of a wild ride.”

“Just making her blush would be amazing,” Delevingne added.
