Pundits continue to debate how aggressive the Ravens will be and what positions and players they might target ahead of the Nov. 5 trade deadline.

Jonas Shaffer of the Baltimore Banner agrees with other experts who say the most likely addition if the Ravens make a deal would be an offensive forward. He ranked defense as the No. 2 priority and identified three potential candidates:

New Orleans Saints CB Marshon Lattimore

“Injuries have limited Lattimore to 23 games over the past three seasons, but when healthy he is one of the NFL’s most talented cornerbacks. According to Pro Football Focus, Lattimore has allowed just 68 yards receiving this season. He is under contract through 2026, but this year He has a base salary of just $1.2 million, and it’s unclear how committed New Orleans will be to keeping him during the rebuild.”

Arizona Cardinals S Budda Baker

“The Ravens will have to pay a lot of money to acquire Baker. He earned Pro Bowl honors at safety for five seasons and has a base salary of $14.2 million in 2024, the final year of his contract. Baker last threw a pass in 2022 , but he will add another versatile playmaker to the defense, having played 57 snaps in the slot, 170 in the box and 212 as a free safety this season, according to PFF.”

Jacksonville Jaguars S Andre Cisco

“Don’t be surprised if Cisco, who is playing the final year of his rookie contract, finds a new home. He made headlines two weeks ago when he said he saw ‘too much give up’ from the Jaguars’ defense during their blowout defeat. Against the Chicago Bears in London, Cisco recorded seven tackles at midfield safety in the 2022 and 2023 seasons.” “He has the potential to make plays.”
