Katt Williams reveals why he chose ‘Club Shay Shay’ for his Tell-All interview

Katt Williams is one of GQ’s Men of the Year. Williams started the year with a bang with her distinct Club Shay Shay performance. Speaking to GQ, Katt reveals why it was the perfect stage to tell her truth.

“Shannon is in that rare situation where people don’t match where his loyalties lie,” Williams said. “There are so many questions that it gives me the opportunity to let this black man show his true colors, while I show mine.”

Appearing at Vulture Fest, Williams revealed that at the beginning of the year he intended to destroy all the careers of those he mentioned during his performance.

“I was trying to do something there that hadn’t been done,” Williams said. “When I wrote it, I wrote it to kill the careers of the people I was talking about. It was so evil that I deleted all the knockout punches and just left the punches so that the comic I’m talking about knows that I know your real story .”
