Borders Homan Reveals New Details About Use of Military in Trump’s Deportation Plan

Tom Homan, border tsar for President-elect Donald Trump, said the military will be used for administrative and other “non-enforcement” duties as part of Trump’s plan to deport immigrants who are in the country illegally.

New York Post said Homan revealed concerns that US military personnel could be used to make arrests on US streets.

“They can really handle transportation, whether it’s ground transportation or air transportation … and certainly help build infrastructure,” Homan, acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during Trump’s first term, told the Post in an exclusive interview .
