It’s not too late to get into the Halloween spirit in the Philly area – Delco Times

The last weekend before Halloween offers plenty of hangouts and autumn’s favorite time for all ages.

Lincoln Mill Haunted House

Lincoln Mill, 4100 Main St., Manayunk, features over 40 terrifying actors, production-quality sets, props, animatronics and special effects such as fog, strobes and flashing lights. It will run until November 2nd.

The attraction is meant to be scary. The owners want it to be the scariest haunted house in the greater region.

There are three new rooms and stages for the season. There are also upgrades to several other areas throughout the attraction, including new illusions and special effects.

There will be new drink and food vendors, including an on-site brewery. There are also new photo opportunities, a new Mill Merch shop, and a new pre-show video shown on a 20-foot-wide projection screen.

Lots going on in Manayunk

Manayunk’s annual Main Street Trick-or-Treat and Pretzel Park Farmers Market’s Costume Parade is Oct. 26.

Start the day at the Pretzel Park Farmers Market’s Costume Parade. The parade will march down Main Street in time for trick-or-treating at select small businesses from 11.00-14.00

Also check out, The Afterlife at Amor at Taqueria Amor. This popup welcomes you to a world of the strange and unusual.

With tricky cocktails, haunted dinner bites, Beetlejuice-themed decor and light shows, they’re back in a horribly raunchy way. Runs until Halloween.

Fat Lady Brewing & Intrins Inq will host Queering Fear. The horror genre and the queer experience, October 27 with doors opening at 2:30 p.m

The event will consist of a film, a drag show, panel discussion, vendors and a costume contest with prizes

Join Manayunk Brewing Co. on Halloween night from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. for the Brew’s + Boo’s Halloween Costume Party. There is a $10 cover charge which includes a drink ticket, music, three open bars, prizes and more.

Philadelphia School of Circus Arts

The Philadelphia School of Circus Arts, 6452 Greene St., presents the Family Haunted Circus Show on Oct. 26 at 2:30 p.m

This PG-13 extravaganza will showcase the Performance Prep and Youth Troupe, and even a group choreography act that’s a real crowd pleaser. It’s the perfect mix of thrills and chills, perfect for youngsters and adults who want to keep things family-friendly without causing nightmares.

Starting at 8 p.m., the Adult Haunted Circus Show takes over the school. This show is not for the faint of heart or the faint of heart, but perfect for those who like their entertainment served up with a side of horror and a dash of risqué.

Performers will put on a real spectacle, spinning horror stories wrapped in sultry allure. So if you’re up for some loud, naughty and nightmare-inducing fun, this show is practically screaming your name.

Tickets for all performances are $20 for adults and $15 for youth at the door.

Halloween Boo Brunch

Positano Coast by Aldo Lamberti, 212 Walnut St., 2nd Floor, Philadelphia, continues its new and popular “vibe” themed brunches with a Halloween party on October 27.

Look for some of the staff in costume, and visitors are welcome to join in the fun by wearing clothing, accessories or a costume to tie in with each month’s theme. It is optional of course. Families are welcome for one of the spookiest Halloween-themed brunches around.

Ghostly Cape May

Harry’s Bar and Grille in Cape May unleashes the spirit with the debut of Harry’s Boo Bar, its first Halloween-themed pop-up experience. Harry’s will be transformed into a haunted pirate’s lair filled with spine-tingling decor, eerie lighting and an atmosphere to raise the dead through November 2.
