Springfield Black Tie receives Chappell Roan autographed magazine for silent auction

You can own a copy of Rolling Stone magazine, autographed by Springfield’s very own Midwestern princess and MTV’s Best New Artist of 2024, Chappell Roan.

Dr. Kara and Dwight Amstutz, whose daughter is Kaylee Amstutz known professionally as Chappell Roanhas donated a signed copy of the magazine to Springfield Black Tie’s annual gala, according to a press release.

Springfield Black Tie hosts an annual gala with dinner and a silent auction to raise money for Southwest Missouri LGBTQ+ organizations that promote equality, inclusion and outreach.

The Amstutzes have donated the paper to help “raise vital funds for LGBTQIA+ programs and services in Springfield and the surrounding area.”

“Chappell’s rise to MTV’s Best New Artist is a proud moment for the community, and the money raised will allow us to continue supporting important LGBTQIA+ services in Southwest Missouri,” said Amy Tignor, spokesperson for Springfield Black Tie, in the press release.
