The Real Housewives of Orange County star Alexis Bellino responds to a message sent by Shannon Beador — together with a settlement payment.

“I just had a chance to see the reunion of RHOC season 18. I’m letting everyone know I’m crushed by this season,” Alexis, 47, wrote via Instagram Friday, November 22. “I was already devastated by losing my mother three months before filming, so it was a difficult decision to sign on again. Still, I went in grateful that it got me out of bed and out of my depression.”

She went on to say she had “been beaten down so badly, so wrongly and so many truths left out”, writing: “So much left on the cutting room floor that would never have brought so much hatred to me and my family.”

She continued: “There ARE receipts. Lots of them. And they WILL be released this week. The trial was only completed because the opposition knew we had receipts to take to court.”

Shannon, 60, has been embroiled in a year-long legal battle with her ex John JanssenAlexis’ husband. John, 61, previously sued Shannon for breach of the oral contract and promissory note fraud, claiming she had failed to repay the $75,000 he had spent on her facelift.

Shannon initially agreed to pay him half of the amount, but changed her mind when she learned he allegedly had footage from her DUI arrest in September 2023. She offered another amount in exchange for a non-disparagement agreement, which John refused.

That was it confirmed by Us Weekly on Tuesday, November 19, that John and Shannon reached an agreement to dismiss the lawsuit, and John filed a notice of settlement. On Thursday, November 21, Shannon uploaded a screenshot via Instagram Story of her “Outgoing Wire Transfer Receipt” for a sum of $60,000. She captioned the post “Enjoy” and tagged both Alexis and John’s official accounts.

“She had to pay because she would have lost in court,” Alexis continued in her caption on Friday. “Yes, (Beador) only paid $60k of the $75, but thanks for the $60k. John gave you a discount. The lie that ‘someone’ paid for everything is squashed by the fact that our forensic accountant did. $50,000 spent by John year one. Then $380,000 over 3 years. Then two loans of $75,000 that she ended up paying because the evidence would have crushed her in court. The truth prevails.”

Family: Shannon Beador clarifies comments about leaving ‘RHOC’ because of Alexis

Shannon Beador has quit working with Alexis Bellino — but would Shannon really let Alexis stop her from returning to The Real Housewives of Orange County? Us Weekly caught up with Shannon, 60, at Emily Simpson’s RHOC reunion watch party on Thursday, Nov. 14, in support of The Innocence Center, and she clarified her earlier comments about (…)

She continued: “It’s unfortunate that I didn’t get a chance to show these receipts at the reunion, even though they were brought by me and they were VERY available to show. So now John and I will lead them with our own voice.”

Alexis added that she “never thought (she would) be brought back this season to be the villain,” saying, “If I had known, I would never have signed on. I live in love. Not anger or hate or villainous. I literally lay awake every night wondering why it was portrayed this way.” She claimed that the series “made a hit show at my and John’s expense.”

Alexis added that she plans to “use my own platform” to “share the truth with you because I don’t live in toxicity, lies, hateful behavior, victimhood, or lies,” saying, “I signed on to reality….and now will I bring forth the reality. I will never act or be a victim, I will simply live with God. He always prevails .”

Shannon came face-to-face with Alexis as her ex-husband’s new girlfriend in season 18 of Orange County. She told exclusively Us on November 14 that she has no interest in filming with Alexis in season 19 and beyond. “I would be grateful to come back (to the show),” she said. “But if Alexis Bellino comes back, sorry, won’t be around (her).”
