City captain Pierce Sweeney was in reflective mood as he gave his reaction to the Grecians’ 3-0 loss to Wrexham.

Three headed goals condemned City to defeat and Pierce analyzed the result.

“I think we’re really good when things go our way,” the Irishman said. “When things go against us, we have to learn how to wrestle back to our advantage and play the way we want to play.

“Today they played the way they wanted to play, blocked a couple of opportunities for us in the first half.”

The Greeks had opportunities to get back into the game in the second half but could not find the elusive goal to pull the game back within reach before Wrexham added a third with 20 minutes remaining.
