Rehab University Academic Panel Meeting: Mid-term exam to be held between December 16 and 21

The Academic Council also decided to appoint a committee to determine the remuneration afresh for evaluation of answer sheets

Dr. Shakuntala Mishra National Rehabilitation University, Lucknow decided to establish Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Faculty of Engineering and Technology in the University. The decision was made at the university’s academic council meeting on Saturday.

The Academic Council also decided to conduct the mid-term examination (of 25 marks) in the university between 16 and 21 December 2024 where the examination of 15 marks will be conducted and orientation and presentation of 10 marks will be done. Along with this, it was decided to conduct all term exams at undergraduate and postgraduate level between 7 and 20 January 2025.

In addition, it was decided to provide an amount of Rs. 20,000 once every two years to attend national/international seminars at any university in the country. It was decided to provide an amount of 1,00,000 once every four years for participation in international seminars organized abroad. Along with this it was decided to provide an amount of Rs. 20,000 to the researcher to attend the seminars throughout the research.

The Academic Council also decided to set up a committee under the chairmanship of Professor CK Dixit to re-determine the remuneration for evaluation of undergraduate, postgraduate, postgraduate research evaluation and viva voce editing in the university.

Other decisions

To organize an inter-university competition to design the university logo and to reward the winning entry.

To include disability studies in the interdisciplinary course conducted at undergraduate level.

Students to be awarded first class degree in 6.0 CGPA range.
