Bigg Boss star Ajaz Khan broke his silence after he lost in the Maharashtra election s 2024. The actor competed from Versova in Mumbai. He was brutally trolled after he got only 155 votes which was less than NOTA votes. Ajaz reacted to his loss with a video on Instagram. He said it is all about Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs).

He noted that some of the biggest political leaders representing major political parties have also lost. His loss is relatively less than theirs. Ajaz added that he is a “social worker” and will continue to work for the betterment of society.

“EVM ka khel hai sab.. Jo saalo se Contest karrahe hai aur Politics mei hai, badi party , bada naam wo candidates haar rahe hain, ya Phir Bahut kam Votes laaye hain. Mai toh Social worker hu jo logo ki awaaz banne koshish karta hu. Aur koshish karta rahunga (It is about EVM! Those who have been contesting for years from big parties, big political leaders have also lost. And here I am who just got some votes. I am a social worker trying to be a voice of the people, I will continue with it), he said.

“Par Mujhe afsos unlogo ke liye hai jinke paas Party ka naam tha, Khudka track record tha, jinhone Croro kharch kardiye 15 din mei ,wo Bahut bura haar gaye. Sab EVM ka Khel hai Bhayya (I pity those who had the support of a big political party and good track record, those who spent millions of money in the last 15 days in campaigns), he added.

He then shared a set of pictures and said, “Life humbles you as you age. You realize how much time you wasted on stupid things. Sab evm ka gothala hai.”

Fielded by Chandrashekhar Azad’s Azad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram), the actor-turned-politician polled only 155 votes, trailing the NOTA (None of the Above) option, which 1,298 voters opted for in the constituency. Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate Haroon Khan won the seat with 65,396 votes.
