Dr Janette Nesheiwat is President-elect Donald Trump’s choice to serve as surgeon general in his new administration. Nesheiwat in a 2022 interview with Nashville Voyager spoke in detail about being raised by his mother who was inspirational in every sense of the word. Growing up with four of her other siblings, she received professional inspiration and learned crucial life skills and important values ​​from her widowed mother, who worked as a registered nurse and inspired her to pursue medicine.
“Growing up and coming from a close-knit Christian family, my mom taught us the importance of God, education, servitude, and giving back to our community. I was in awe watching my mom care for young injured child patients and see joy and the love and laughter she brought into their lives that played a positive role in their healing,” Nesheiwat said.
After losing her husband, her mother Hayat worked tirelessly – often working two or three jobs – to provide for her children. The six family members shared a roof and a single bathroom. Nesheiwat also mentioned in the interview how her mother instilled the important values ​​of kindness, hard work and determination.

Jaclyn Stappa former Miss New York USA and Mrs. Florida America, is a philanthropist, children’s book author and founder of the non-profit organization CHARM (Children Are Magical). She is married to Creed singer Scott Stapp and is a devoted mother of three.
