Chesapeake, VA – On Tuesday, at approximately 2:46 p.m., Chesapeake Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Acorn St. after reports of gunfire nearby. In response, Carver Intermediate School adopted a temporary lockdown while officers investigated the situation.

After a thorough search, no injured persons were found at the scene. The authorities are continuing their investigation into the incident.
