(WXYZ) — The Detroit Tigers say construction is well underway at Comerica Park on the new premium “Home Plate Club,” which will sit behind home plate at the stadium.

In June, the team unveiled the new premium seating option.

This week, the Tigers said several sections of the seats in the clubhouse will also have fast-moving heating and cooling technology, meaning fans can enjoy the seats either warmer or cooler depending on the weather.

The Home Plate Club will include a new space built under the bleachers that will have its own entrance to the seating.

Other inclusions with the club include VIP parking, all-inclusive food and beverage, on-site service and more.

The other change coming next season is the new Loge Boxes, located on the lower level between the bases. They will have access to the Home Plate Club and all the same perks, but offer semi-private luxury seating and game viewing, with a privacy wall partially enclosing the seats.

Adding exclusive, premium seating is feedback we’ve heard consistently, and we’re excited to unveil these exciting upgrades during the 2025 season.”

This is the latest renovation of Comerica Park as it approaches its 25th season as a stadium.

Other projects include a new LED lighting system, a renovation of the team’s clubhouse, a new scoreboard, new sound systems and televisions in the stadium and more.

Tiger officials said further updates are on the horizon.
