BEDFORD, Ohio (WOIO) – A bicyclist was killed in a two-car crash Friday morning, Bedford Police said.

According to a release, Bedford police officers and the Bedford Fire Department were dispatched to 18200 Rockside Road for a two-car crash.

Emergency crews arrived at the scene around 9:12 a.m. to find a woman riding a bicycle pinned under one of the cars, according to a release.

According to a release, the Bedford Fire Department pronounced the woman dead at the scene and treated the two drivers.

Bedford police said they are working to identify the woman.

According to the press release, the investigation has been handed over to the accident investigation unit.
