Jennifer Lawrence showed off her baby bump as she took her son Cy, two, to a park in Los Angeles on Thursday.

The No Hard Feelings star, 34, cut a casual figure in a white t-shirt which highlighted her midriff and red trousers.

Jennifer wore her blonde hair down and parted in the middle with curtain bangs.

She carried a boxy black purse and wore sunglasses on the sunny Southern California day.

Her budding baby bump was barely visible as she turned to the side.

Lawrence’s outing comes just days after a rep for the star was confirmed Vogue that she and husband Cooke Maroney, 40, are expecting their second child.

The Hunger Games actress also made her first red carpet appearance this week since announcing she was expecting.

The Oscar winner wore a lovely off the shoulder white dress with black buttons down the front of the dress which was belted above her bump.

She attended the premiere of the documentary Zurawski v Texas which she co-produced with Hillary Clinton and Chelsea Clinton.

Zurawski v Texas documents the actual 2023 lawsuit filed by The Center for Reproductive Rights on behalf of 20 Texas women, who were denied abortion care they claim resulted in risks to their health and/or fertility, and two Texas obstetrician-gynecologists in 2023 .

Amanda Zurawski, who became pregnant in 2022, was the main plaintiff in the case.

The lawsuit asked “the state of Texas to clarify the scope of the ‘medical emergency’ exceptions under its strict abortion ban, which went into effect after the US Supreme Court’s shocking Roe v. Wade in June 2022.”

In May 2024, the Texas Supreme Court ruled that the language used was adequate and refused to “clarify the exceptions to the state’s abortion ban.”

“Court rejected claims of 20 women who were denied abortions despite severe pregnancy complications,” the Center for Reproductive Rights reported.

“Women denied abortions in Texas despite life-threatening circumstances join with attorney to file lawsuit against state, seeking to restore reproductive rights for themselves and others,” reads the documentary’s official IMDb synopsis.

A fierce advocate for a woman’s right to choose whether or not to carry a child, Jennifer found herself shocked and saddened by the overturning of Roe v. Wade in 2022 at the hands of the ultra-conservative US Supreme Court.

“I’ve tried to get over it and I really can’t,” she said in a 2022 interview with Vogue. “I’m sorry to just let loose, but I can’t mess with people who aren’t political anymore.

‘You live in the United States. You have to be political. It’s too horrible. Politics kills people.’

Lawrence reflected on her first pregnancy and learned what she would have had to consider if her life circumstances – or her health during her pregnancy – had been different.

“I had an amazing pregnancy,” she continued. “I had a very happy pregnancy. But every second of my life was different. And it occurred to me sometimes: What if I was forced to do this?
