‘It cut right there’: Trump shows first assassination attempt scar during Joe Rogan interview

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trumpwhile appearing in an interview with podcasts Joe Roganrevealed scar from the first one attempted murder on him during a Pennsylvania rally.
In the podcast titled “The The Joe Rogan Experiencethat was released Friday night, Trump pointed to the gunshot wound behind his right ear, which he sustained during the shooting, saying, “It got a notch right there.” Rogan then remarked, “It healed up pretty damn well.”
On July 13, during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Trump was shot armed man Thomas Matthew Crooks, who shot from a rooftop 130 meters away. The bullet grazed Trump’s ear, leaving a scar he called a “top shot.”

Trump also discussed the dangers of being president, mentioning the two assassination attempts on his life. “I do things that don’t necessarily make me that popular. I just do what’s right,” he said, adding: “You make yourself a target, and that’s a very dangerous business.”

Rogan suggested it media portrayals and comparisons with Adolf Hitler may have contributed to such threats by saying, “The rhetoric is that you are Hitler, and to stop Hitler you must do whatever it takes.”
